Supporting the Choir
Being a student-run choir in Oxford makes The Arcadian Singers not only unique, but also a hugely enjoyable and valuable experience for all involved. Singers benefit from the musical skills and disciplines learnt in rehearsing and performing to a high standard, as well as the organisational skills and experience gained from many of the committee roles. The amount of great repertoire the singers can learn (and perform well) in the space of a single year is amazing and the rehearsals that makes such performances possible are collaborative, absorbing and rewarding.
However the group's student-run structure makes it tremendously difficult to sustain . Without any professional input, it is a struggle to attract sufficient financial support, and to maintain the professional standards that we strive for. We are therefore calling for any support you might be able to give us. The money you give could go towards the costs of tours, concert venues and soloists, as well as the buying and commissioning of music.
We are hugely grateful for any size of donation, but a regular contribution would help secure the future of the choir and its long-term aims. Please consider the following categories and their rewards.
How you can help
You can become a friend or benefactor, helping to secure the future of the choir by giving a regular donation. We can process both one-off donations and direct debits through PayPal, or you can download a form here which will allow you to sign up for the scheme.
